Shri. C.Sasikumar, Ornithologist and Writer C. Sashikumar has over 33 years of experience as an ornithologist and conservationist in southern India. His has published several scientific articles in various national and international journals. His books have been a source of inspiration to a new generation of ornithologists in Kerala and southern India and has succeeded in updating the works of past greats such Dr. Salim Ali and Prof. K.K. Neelakandan. He is a member of Vulture specialists group, Species Survival Commission, IUCN and Editorial Board member of the Journal Indian Birds and Editor of Malabar Trogon a natural history journal of Malabar Natural History Society. He has authored seven Books on Ornithology.
