Suma. T. R is a Social Anthropologist with more than 15 years of experience working with different cultural groups of Kerala. Her larger research interest is the dynamics of human nature relations situated in the theoretical perspective of political ecology. The specific research areas where she has contributed are Land governance, biodiversity governance, social organization of agrobiodiversity management and human animal conflict. Currently she is working as consultant with, EQUATIONS, the research and advocacy of organization working in sustainable tourism based on Bangalore.
