    Research Assistant (Climate Change and Wildlife)

    Sivachand has a Masters degree in Botany from Bengaluru City University and an undergraduate degree in BSc Chemistry Botany Zoology from University of Mysore. He is currently working as a Research Assistant under the “Climate Change” project at Hume. The objective of this study is to monitor the rainfall and temperature in the district and to identify climate sensitive regions, which will aid in developing action plans for prevention of natural disaster and spreading awareness in the district. A 'Citizen Science' approach is being used in order to review the level of influence that human activities have on ecosystems and how that influences climate change.
